Change in a forest doesn't announce itself.
It accumulates.
Gradually, incrementally, in ways that are almost impossible to track unless you're paying the kind of attention most of us don't have time for.
This piece sits in that quieter register. Built through layering, it holds the muted rhythms of the forest floor, the sense of something shifting so slowly you'd miss it if you blinked. Which, honestly, is kind of the point.
Created as part of my Oak Moss series in the ancient woodlands of the North York Moors National Park.
